The Jeff Bezos School of Business - Remember when Jeff Bezos purchase The Washington Post? It sounded crazy, but Bezos has done it. He’s improved the publisher significantly, although not without criticism. This article looks at what publishers can learn from Bezos’ approach. 

ISIS as the Deadliest Start-up - Nick Bilton looks at the rise of ISIS and how it came to be the world’s (worst and deadliest) start-up. The takeaways are sad, scary and frustrating.

Instagram’s Growing Up for Businesses - Fast Company looks at how Instagram has evolved from being a place for sharing everyday photos to being a business platform. It’s learned from mistakes and is now giving advertisers new tools for reaching audiences on the platform.

Snapchat’s All Grown Up(s) - Snapchat’s getting older and so are its users. Snapchat is now “breaking into the mainstream” with 14% of its users 35 or older, up from 2% three years ago. We’ve seen this play out on other platforms from Facebook to Twitter to Instagram.
